Single-grade type Neste Diesel diesel engine oils are designed for the lubrication of turbocharged heavy-duty diesel engines. In addition, the multiple-effect additives allow them to be used in ordinary and light-duty diesel engines without any risk of cold sludge or corrosion. SAE 20W-30 covers two viscosity categories but is single-grade in structure, i.e. the polymer additive, which is not recommended for certain uses, is missing. This makes its viscosity extremely resistant to heavy shear stresses found in these engines. Neste Diesel oils can be used in hydraulic systems and transmissons when single grade engine oil is required.
